Program Launches To Help Congregations Stream By High Holidays
StreamSpot, a leading provider of live and on-demand streaming specializing in automated content distribution for multi-platform delivery, today announced a new partnership with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism to offer discounted live streaming services and streaming equipment to its nearly 600 member congregations in North America. The new program will allow USCJ members to reach congregants by using live streaming for weekly services, life cycle events, and special programming, with no additional staff or action needed to broadcast.
StreamSpot allows for simple setup and a seamless streaming experience for customers and their online viewers. Current USCJ members using StreamSpot emphasize the value in not needing an onsite staff member to start and stop broadcasts, which is especially important for Conservative congregations, as well as the vast and affordable outreach they provide to those in their congregation and beyond, streaming not only to their own websites, but to over 30 other popular destinations, including Facebook Live, YouTube, and Vimeo, reaching their congregants on the popular online platforms where they already are.
“I have seen first-hand how StreamSpot has helped my synagogue reach our members who could otherwise not make it to our services and programs due to health or travel reasons,” said USCJ Board Member Steven Scheck. “The USCJ’s partnership with StreamSpot will help all of our kehillot see the same benefit and will ultimately increase the amount of people participating in our programs.”
“We are excited to add the USCJ to our great list of StreamSpot partners to provide affordable streaming solutions to their congregations,” said Laura Duerring, co-founder of StreamSpot. “The timing of this new program for USCJ congregations couldn’t be better, as StreamSpot’s turn-key packages will allow congregations to be ready to live stream upcoming High Holiday services to those who cannot physically attend, most often due to difficulty or distance."
The perpetuity of the offered discount is a part of a shared commitment to offer congregations significant savings through the program and will be honored for both current and prospective USCJ congregations using StreamSpot. In addition to a lifetime 25% discount on service plans, congregations also enjoy a 10% discount on all StreamSpot equipment purchases.
